1 SITUATION

1.1 Overview

This is a low level navigation training mission. Individual aircrew will plan a route to the target (Batumi airbase) and back to base (Kutaisi).

Each individual aircrew will be assigned a specific target at Batumi airbase.

Due to mission organiser’s need to be able to deconflict planned routes by adjusting start times, each individual aircrew will plan their routes based upon being compatible with a “Rolex time” to be determined, as opposed to upon a specific time. E.g. “Dusty 4-2 will hit WP3 at Rolex +15”, not “Dusty 4-2 will hit WP3 at 08:15 local time”.
