Everyone’s welcome to this training!

Training Mission: Kola, day (08.00)

Weather: Overcast with possible rain. Heavy fog, visibility 500-1000'. Wind from 112 / 8 kts. QNH 29.25

 

Fixed wing procedure

  • All flights are solo (but cooperation in Discord is encouraged)
  • Departure Bodö (ENBO), expect SALTY. 
  • Follow instructions from Control, expect navigation via Gällivare (NDB 346.00 or coordinates N67°08.46' E20°44.37')
  • Arrival Kallax (ESPA), expect BESLA 4E (NOTE: TCN 98X only)
  • Choice of ILS or PAR from Final Approach Point (FAP/FAF)
  • Go around procedure: Climb straight ahead to 3000'. Expect vectors to FAP/FAF or BESLA.

 

Rotary wing procedure

  • All flights are solo (but cooperation in Discord is encouraged)
  • Departure Vidsel (ESPE), climb to 2000' on HDG 110
  • Follow instructions from Control, expect radial 096 for 38 nm 
  • Descend to 500', finding Boden 
  • Navigate VFR along Lule Älv to ESPA, approx HDG 140
