Briefing

Background

In a fictional 1944 allied fighters operate from Rota airbase and the carrier Intrepid positioned north of Rota. Enemy airbases are located on Saipan and Tinian, and enemy fleet assets operate mainly north and west of Tinian.

Mission

Allied intelligence have informed us that the 2nd Marine Division are soon landing on Tinian as a part of operation FORAGER. Our primary task is to clear the sky of enemy night fighters, and escort a small low level parachute drop performed by four C-47 Dakotas callsign TEXAS, join up at 7,000 feet in grid EN. When the drop is completed, establish CAP south of Tinian to prevent enemy action against our fleet assets there.
