Briefing
Background
In a fictional 1944 allied fighters operate from Rota airbase and the carrier Intrepid positioned north of Rota. Enemy airbases are located on Saipan and Tinian, and enemy fleet assets operate mainly north and west of Tinian.
Mission
Escort two waves of bombers inbound targeting coastal defenses on Tinian. The first wave are B17Gs and will drop their bombs from 17,000 feet. The second wave are A20s and will dive down to low level for the attack run. Join up at grid BN at 17,000 feet. CAP fighters stay with the bombers and A/G capable aircraft engage any flak sites on Tinian opening up on the bombers.
