In a fictional 1944 allied fighters operate from Rota airbase and the carrier Intrepid positioned north of Rota. Enemy airbases are located on Saipan and Tinian, and enemy fleet assets operate mainly north and west of Tinian.

Mission

Allied intelligence report that several formations of enemy attack aircraft are approaching from the west, likely from a small enemy auxiliary carrier force. Likely targets include shipping south of Rota or Rota airbase itself. Take off and climb to Angels 10, contact Longbow fighter control on channel B.
