1 SITUATION

1.1 Overview

The war in the Southeast is rolling on. And the Air Force units at Paphos AFB are always ready to support the war effort, a never-ending task.

1.2 Area of operations

Western Cyprus, see ANNEX (Main AO)
- Terrain is hilly and covered with forest. Highest peak is at 6000ft.

1.4 Air threats

The Vietnamese People's Air Force is busy further north; therefore, air threats are unlikely.

1.5 Ground threats

Infantry, possible AAA.

NOTE: The Guard frequencies are hijacked; therefore, all the latest and greatest hits are available on literally every goddam aircraft radio out there. Make sure you don't switch your unit to "T/R+G" or "BOTH". And FAC units, ensure that button "A" isn't depressed on your boxes.

5.2 Freq flow (Airfield flights)

7, 3/4, 7.

Remain on Tower (ch 7) during startup and departure, Tactical (ch 3/4), use Tower (ch 7) for recovery.
