Background:
In a fictional campaign during WW2 allied forces have recently established a small base on Guam. A detachment of RAF and USAF fighters are tasked with supporting offensive operations towards Rota island in the north. US and Japanese naval forces are maneuvering around the Mariana islands and a major naval engagement is expected soon.
Situation:
The marines have control over most of Rota island. Japanese defenders have been pushed back towards the northeast, and it is time to engage the main defense line around the Rota airport. All units north of the runway at Rota airbase are hostile, A/G elements are tasked with engageing targets of opportunity. CAP units are to provide cover. Friendly AAA (40 mm) are positioned north of the highest peak on Rota.
