1 SITUATION

1.1 Overview

This will be a tht/stress-test with Olympus – The number of flights are at max!

The terror group are doing their final push from Palmyra in to Iraq and we have to stop them from establish new bases at the Iraqi airbases at H3. The airbases at H3 and Runwayshid are already overrun by scout groups from the terrorists.

1.2 Area of operations

East of DAMASCUS (SYRIA) The ground is mostly flat desert.

1.4 Air threats

MiG-21, MiG-25, MiG-29

MiG-21s, MiG-25s and occasional MIG-29s have been reported around the DAMASCUS area.

1.5 Ground threats

Expect 23mm and SA-systems in the range of 8, 9, 15 and 19 in and around the target area. Our reports indicate a max of one SA unit per airbase at H3, H3 Northwest, H3 Southwest and Runwayshid. But up to seven 23mm system per afb. All systems are maned by poorly trained terrorists.

1.6 Friendly forces

Jordanian ground units are active on there side of the boarder, also expect helicopter traffic inside Jordanian airspace.

2 MISSION

Stopp the three convoys that have been reported leaving PALMYRA for H3. Destroy the runways at H3, H3 Southwest/Northwest and Runwayshid.

3 EXECUTION

3.1 Commander’s intent

FIRST – Search and destroy the three convoys that left Palmyra a few hours ago. Destroy the runways at H3, Southwest/Northwest and Runwayshid.
SECOND – Reduce enemy strength in the AO (See map).

1. BENDER and INDY establish CAP at CAP NORTH and SOUTH.
2. HITMAN Search and destroy the three convoys, with help from RAGE.
3. ARTIC Strike runway at H3 and H3 Northwest.
4. JESTER Strike runway at H3 Southwest.
5. PIG Strike runway at Runwayshid.
6. RAGE Search and destroy the three convoys, with help from HITMAN.
7. FENRIS destroy three warehouses and the helicopter base.
