1 SITUATION

Overview

We have taken Shindand Air Base and we will push to take Herat Air Base

ZU-23,SPAAA HL with ZU-23 and MANPADS and insurgents.

Blue convoy from Shindand to Herat

1.7 Civilian/3rd part

No civilian air traffic or civilian vehicles on the ground, all civilians has evacuated the AO.

2 MISSION

The Joint Force Air Component (JFAC) launch missions to take Herat.

3 EXECUTION

3.1 Commander’s intent

Establish CAP to protect our A2G assets inroute to Herat and escort our C-130 flights with parachuters inbound to Herat.

3.2 Packages

The mission contains packages, callsign WESTROCK, KRONES

Package WESTROCK: All CAP flights.
Package KRONES: All A2G flights and All rotary wings.

3.3 Order of events

All below NEEDS to be changed

This operation is divided into 2 phases: Set up Cap and Escort our Blue Convoy from Shindand to Herat

3.4 Rules of engagement

Addition: Weapons free, there are no civilians in the AO (all civilians has evacuated the AO).
