1 SITUATION

1.1 Overview

Rovaniemi air base has been infiltrated with russian special forces and a power station was destroyed. Luckily, the base security managed to prevent further actions and neutralized the group. NATO has noticed a massive build up of ground and air assets in the Kola area and hybrid actions against Finland has increased. Also Red sea assets steaming towards Kemi. Intel reports also that we have a Scuds with anti air protection grouped on the russian side of the border.

1.7 Civilian/3rd part

All civilian russian air traffic, in russian air space have been diverted to an russian air port, but some civillian air craft can be in finnish air space on route to finnish air ports.

2 MISSION

Set up CAP between Ivalo air base down to Kuusamo air base . A2A assets at Ivalo air base, locate the scud group and take it out. Locate and destroy the Red sea convoy.

3 EXECUTION

3.1 Commander’s intent

Set up CAP, locate and destroy the scuds and the Red Sea convoy.

3.2 Packages

The mission contains 3 packages, callsign WOLFPACK (CAP), EAGLES (Ah-64, Kiowa + A-10) and BUMMER (F15-E).

3.3 Order of events

1. Package WOLFPACK Set up CAP and protect the finnish air space.

2. Package EAGLES, locate and be ready to destroy the scuds.

3. AJS 37s, locate and be ready to destroy the Red Sea convoy.

4. Package BUMMER F15-E, sneak in and bring down the Read A-50 Awacs.

3.4 Rules of engagement

Addition: Weapons free on all enemy installations unless they are moving into built up areas.

Package WOLFPACK (Lead: ARCTIC11)

* Depart Rovianemi/Mother.
* Set up CAP between Ivalo and Kuusamo, do not cross the border.
* Be ready to Engange bandits if ROE: B changes to ROE: C.
* F18 Refuel at ARCO1 or ARCO5, F16 Refuel at Texaco2 or Texaco4, or all CAP flights can land at closest blue airbase and refuel/rearm.
* RTB on order from STINGRAY.
