Background:
In a fictional campaign during WW2 allied forces have recently established small bases on Guam and Rota. A detachment of RAF, USN and USAF fighters are tasked with supporting offensive operations towards Tinian and Saipan islands in the north. US Marines have landed a small force on Aguijan just south of Tinian, and are preparing assets for a final push towards Tinian.
Situation:
The enemy is expected to retaliate for our attack on coastal batteries yesterday. Reports of a Ju-88 reloading with torpedoes at Gurguan Point indicate a possible attack on the CV-11 USS Intrepid.
Mission:
Patrol the area south of Tinian.
