Background:
In a fictional campaign during WW2 allied forces have recently established a small base on Guam. A detachment of RAF and USAF fighters are tasked with defending the island during the construction of a larger airbase, and conduct offensive operations towards Rota island in the north. US and Japanese naval forces are maneuvering around the Mariana islands and a major naval engagement is expected soon.
Situation:
The marines have now established a larger force on the south part of Rota island. Japanese defenders are mounting a counterattack from the north. Our mission is to support the marines defense as they regroup after the landings with air cover and A/G attacks (depending on platform).
Load up with A/G if able, take off from Guam, fly north towards Rota, sign in with LONGBOW for detailed tasking.
