1 SITUATION

This is the last push to make Syria to stand down.

We have 2 blue ground forces in the AO. One is north of Damascus in grid BT71. The other will be inserted by helo somewhere in grid BS59.
1.7 Civilian/3rd part
One civilian flight are expected to land at Damascus.
2 MISSION
- Prevent the civilian flight to land at Damascus.
- Clear Mezzah and the road to Damascus.
- Neutralize all Syrian ground forces at Damascus.
- Establish CAP.
- Destroy runways at Damascus, Palmyra and Tiyas.
3 EXECUTION
3.1 Commander’s intent
The main mission goal is to break Syria and make them stand down, by prevent the Syrian leadership to escape from Damascus. To do this we need to destroy the runways at Damascus.
To achive this we need to have air superiority in the AO by settin up our own CAP. The Syrian air force has 3 functional air bases left, Damascus, Palmyra and Tiyas.
Our intelligence shows that there are Mig’s ready to take of from Tiyas and Palmyra, not from Damascus.
We need to destroy runways at Palmyra and Tiyas as fast as possible to prevent the Migs to take off.
3.2 Packages
The mission contains of 2 package,
Package RABBIT, ARCTIC1, BENDER2, CRIMSON3, DUSTY4, KRAKEN2, INDY9, JESTER1, VENOM4
Package HORSE, HAWG8, PIG7, RAGE9, SALTY1
NO PACKAGE flights, HITMAN3, CYLON5, GRIM7, FENRIS6, QUEBEC8
3.3 Order of events
1. Fenris6, Grim7 and Quebec8 hit and destroy the runways at Palmyra and Tiyas as fast as possible and the build up of a SAM system.
2. Package RABITT will neutralize enemy CAP over Damascus, then report SMASH and push to CAP NorthWest and SouthEast and remain on station.
3. Package HORSE, Hitman3 and Cylon5 will hold at pre-briefed locations until SMASH has been reported and then push to their objectives.
