Background
A Forward Observation Team (GUARDIAN 6-1) is pinned down west of Qalat. They are surrounded and taking heavy fire. This is a “no-fail” combat extraction of personnel and sensitive gear.
Intel & Execution
- Scout & Strike: BLACKJACK 4 leads ingress using Mast-Mounted Sights. Coordinate with RAGE 9 for suppression.
- The Threat: Confirmed insurgent mortar teams and MANPADS (SA-7/SA-14) on ridgelines.
- ROE: Max aggression authorized on AA/Mortar sites. Chinooks commit only when LZ is “COLD.”
Mission Failure Criteria
- Loss of any friendly helicopter.
- Failure to extract the team before being overrun.
