Mission start time MAY22 1730Local. Sun set 2000.

We will continue our security task in AO CHESTNUT against militia trying to destabilize Syria.

SITUATION
Last thursday we destroyed BM-21 and SA-15 and thereby denied the milita units their indirect fire capability. The results are some pissed off militia who are set for retaliation.

ENEMY
Enemy have been spotted gathering forces and preparing what is estimated to be a counter-attack towards OP OAK if unchecked.
Units consist of T-55 and BMP-2 in company size covered by shilka and SA-13 and SA-15 in CA96 dispersed around the village where we struck the BM-21.

FRIENDLY
No friendly ground forces in the active part of the AO. Area of 10km out from OP OAK is patrolled by friendly forces and considered safe.

MISSION
Locate and destroy the armored formation in order to prevent possible attack on OP OAK.

LOGISTICS
FARP at OP OAK, no other replen available.

COMMAND/CONTROL
FM 33.0 is package net for coordination between flights.

GAMEPLAY
Respawn is allowed in order to get as much training effect as possible. However if a bird goes down all other birds has to disengage and reform with the respawning bird before going back in against the threat.
