1 SITUATION
1.1 Overview
You, the fine pilots of Masterarms did one hell of a fine job on our last mission. However, the outcome is not the one we expected. Tension in the region is high and during the last weeks there have been numerous incidents in the area. United States and UAE are on high alert, and our pilots are on 15 min standby 24/7.
This is a CAP / scramble mission!

MIG-29s and Mirage F1 have been reported operating in and around Bandar Abbas. Expect main threat from closest enemy air bases, located at Bandar Abbas, Shiraz and Kerman. Intel estimates that the Iranian Air Force will have routine CAP in the strait of Hormuz area. Intelligence reports state that the Iranian Air Force can scramble up to 25 fighters in a 20 min time frame. Up to ten SU-24 is reported parked on the tarmac at Lar.
1.5 Ground threats
23mm, 60mm and 100mm AAA, ZSU-23 Shilka, MANPADS, SA-2, SA-6, SA-10, SA-11
As far as we know the SA-2/6 and 10 sites are located more inland after our previous attack and should not be a factor for our CAP operations. However, there are numerous SA-11 placed on the island of Lesser Tunb and Greater Tunb.

1.7 Civilian/3rd part
Civilian air traffic is still active in some parts of UAE.
