Background:
In a fictional campaign during WW2 allied forces have recently established small bases on Guam and Rota. A detachment of RAF and USAF fighters are tasked with supporting offensive operations towards Tinian and Saipan islands in the north. US and Japanese naval forces are maneuvering around the Mariana islands and a major naval engagement has just started with raids from carrier based aircraft.
Situation:
Allied intelligeence informs us that the enemy have launched a large raid towards friendly fleet units from Tinian and Saipan. We continue to use this opportunity to get in a low level bomb raid with light bombers (A20). The target is located in the north part of Tinian. However, there are some enemy CAP units up, and their attack flights are starting to return from the northwest, so the bombers need escort. Take off heading west from Rota and join up with the bombers at 15,000 feet in grid NC.
