Process:
All players will be divided into groups of four, but are allowed to split that into two groups of two if they so wish. Regardless of group size, we recommend that you rotate your flight lead after every landing in order to spread the exposure to talking on the radio.
Due to the large amount of traffic in the pattern (far exceeding what would be the case in an real-life training) we'll be using slightly different radio procedures than we normally do:
For starts on the boat:
Depart maintaining 500 feet. Keep flying straight ahead until tower grants you your marshaling altitude. Climb and enter the port hold. Remain on the tower frequency until commencing and then push to approach. Remain on approach until you've trapped.
For starts on land:
Contact tower for marshaling altitude well before DME10. Be at your assigned altitude before DME10. As you're leaving the marshal stack, contact approach. Remain on approach until you've trapped.
Important: Remain stationary for a few seconds after a succesful landing, until you see your score message pop up. Contact tower on button 1 (305.000) while waiting and taxi off the runway once you've received your score. Refuel up to 75%, wait for the rest of your group and get ready to launch again.
This is not a practice for aerial refueling - ensure that you at every launch has sufficient fuel for the stack and possible bolter patterns.
If you bolter you've got two options - bolter pattern or CASE I departure and rejoin the stack. Bolter patterns are only flown if cleared by approach - if no bolter clearance is granted, fly a case 1 departure and re-enter the port hold. Your wingman / wingmen can join you in the marshal stack later, even if there is another group on top of you.
Poäng:
* Vi använder oss utav Banklers fantastiska träningsuppdrag som räknar ut poängen åt oss.
* Målet med träningen är att samtliga ska klara minst två stycken lyckade landningar vars poäng överstiger 40 under kvällens gång.
* Vi kommer att hålla koll på alla försök och poäng och lägga upp resultatet på Discord vid kvällens slut. Den eller de personer som lyckas få högst poäng i ett varv får skryträttigheter.
