SUMMARY:Training Tuesday - Split Pop Attack
DESCRIPTION:What\n2-ship Split Pop Attack from multiple directions. Altitude deconfliction.\nWhy\nTo minimize exposure in areas where small arms\, AAA and MANPADS are present.\nWhom\nAny plane able to have bombs and speed of minimum 430knts. We split in 2 groups\, Alpha and Bravo. More details in briefing.\n\nHow\nIn flights of two\, we head towards the target area at high speed and low altitude. Once 5nm from the target\, each ship breaks 30 degrees in opposite direction from the target heading. When target is at the 4/8 o’clock position\, and on lead call\, pop-up and turn into the target. Altitude deconfliction applies. On release\, egress opposite ingress heading. At 5nm\, disengage heading 300 and fall back into the stack at your assigned altitude. If we get the flow going\, we should be able to go 4 rounds\, dropping 2x GBU-38 or 2x MK-82 each round. Feel free to switch side and bomb-type between the rounds.
